Hassan along with Consortium classmates Edwin Polanco (Indiana University - Bloomington) and Chima Ogbuokiri (New York University '10) created a business, ThaTrunk.com, which was accepted into Texas Venture Labs.ThaTrunk is a digital music marketplace for driven Independent Hip Hop Artists that sells services normally offered by record labels.Texas Venture Labs at The University of Texas at Austin is a campus-wide initiative to accelerate the rate of start-ups on its campus, offering entrepreneurs an accelerated route in bringing their innovations to market.

Jessie has been serving as Executive Vice President of External Affairs for Sempra Energy, a Fortune 200 energy services corporation, has been named the Chief Executive Officer for the company's largest subsidiary, San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E). SDG&E is a regulated utility with 5,000 employees that provide electricity, gas and energy services to 3.5 million consumers for San Diego and southern Orange Counties with $4.4 billion in revenues.

Natalie recently accepted a full-time offer to work for The Coca-Cola Company in brand management. While in her second year, she is serving as the vice president of career and academic advancement for the Black MBA Association. She also serves on the Board of Gateway Homeless Shelter through the board fellows program at the university and is a team guide for the Goizueta Marketing Strategy Competition.

Edward T. Hightower '95
Edward recently founded and is Managing Director of Motoring Ventures LLC - an independent private equity investment and advisory firm focused on acquiring and increasing the value of middle-market companies in the automobile and powersports industries. He brings over twenty years of industry and consulting experience to the founding of Motoring Ventures and the hands-on leadership of its portfolio companies. Previously, he was a Director at AlixPartners LLP, where he helped manufacturing and consumer companies around the world grow revenue, reduce costs and increase operating profits. He also advised several of the worlds leading private equity firms and investment banks on auto sector M&A transactions throughout the US, China and the UK. Prior to consulting, Hightower held several significant product design engineering, marketing and P&L leadership roles between Ford, BMW and GM.
